Is a frustrating mess

Discoveries made today lead me to believe that the 'undue hardship' clause that makes student loans forbidden targets of bankruptcy claims entails something like being paraplegic or having a child with Downs Syndrome or something.
I don't know if bipolar disorder qualifies (doubt it) but, like Cindy says, I might as well make my craziness work for me if I can.

Hey, it's a medically recognized disability (particularly if it interferes with your ability to find/work a higher paying job), so if you have good documentation of the diagnosis, it can't hurt.
