Item: Frances is weakening as she travels overland--now a Cat 1 storm, but still a hurricane. Expected to dump lots of rain on Florida before heading out into the Gulf tonight.

Item: Asked Alaska to send me tickets for SJC-SEA and asked work for 3-5 Oct off.

Item: Mom, I hope your trip to Orlando wasn't this week.

This sounds like it has the makings of a plan. Although I could probably give you a lift on Monday. Will you have a vehicle in Olympia, or do you just want to be dropped off at the homestead?

Z will be working on Mon in Oly, so that would be fine. Depending on what happens for childcare, I may have to be there by 2pm. Otherwise, he will be off work at 8ish.
