Got to get myself right out of here

Back from Seattle. Got to see Larry and Kia and September, admired the Space Needle and other expensive things in the plaza, admired many crafty things at the Pike Street Market (bought more tea and strawberry pepper jam, should have bought honey and Tersa's measuring spoons), watched Willard (the remake with Crispin Hellion Glover, who was really born to play this part), ate pizza and enchiladas and drank a whole bottle of V8.
And today I snuck down to Vancouver to see Jess. I got smoochies and an autographed copy of her new book before the unwashed masses could get one, and I rassled with Anubis and had a lovely hour or so of chat time before leaving late and making my flight home by about eight minutes. Yay for fog delays.
I saw my breath, and actually felt cold, and drove through the rainforest, and walked in the fog.

Sounds great. So why did I have to stay here while you had fun? I really miss seeing the coast and the rocks. It just isn't relaxing here. You really need to call your mom. Lady
