Four, four, four for my headaches

cyranoSo yesterday I was pissed. Today exacerbated that. I boiled with rage, and my fury burned with the white hot intensity of a thousand suns. (In fact I am watching Mystery Men because it has the furious guy in it.) But then tyee and her boy stopped by on their way to Rome (amazingly jealous, especially seeing as I work for an airline and they get to go cool places) and that was very nice. And they had home made Chex mix for me. And I got hugs.
So yesterday I finally put in that transfer form, all draconian and binding. And today when I was passing through Operaions (the place I wanted to be transferred to) Jesus gave me the first concrete information about the new position he'd been talking about since I failed to get the first full time Operations job in July.
I know he wants me in the position, and he's been hoping to get a position he could put me in. But I really feel like I'm getting jerked around here, and that if I hadn't made that transfer request then it might have been a few more months before anything appeared, instead of 'in Mid-November'. I also hate that if I withdraw the transfer request I look like I was jerking the Comissary supervisor, playing the departments off against each other to get what I wanted. I also may well create some hard feelings, a few political mines at work, as well as provoke those draconian reactions that made me not want to sign the form when I was asking about the ramp job in Portland.
I decided not to make any decisions until I was a little calmer.
