If any of you bought me Babylon 5 for christmas tell me now. I found them really cheap on eBay.

I've gotten back into the bad habit of drinking too much soda. I've had three or four in the past week, but hopefully I can get that back under control. There's one left in the fridge and hopefully having it gone will help.

Reading the Vorkosigan novels finally--just finished the second one. Writing is markedly better in the second one (especially Cordelia and Vordalian's conversation at the Emperor's birthday party.) Still enjoyed the first one, though, and looking forward to the third.

With the new schedule and never getting to see anybody ever again, I'm hoping to set up some kind of schedule, maybe to watch some of the movies that are piling up, read books, do some writing, God knows what.

And when I have more than one day off I need to take the car in for service and get my hair cut. I'm beginning to look like a god damn hippie.

Bujold just gets better and better. I think _Memory_ and _Mirror Dance_ are local maxima, but the only real disappointment in the late books is the most recent, _Diplomatic Immunity_. _The Curse of Chalion_ and _Paladin of Souls_ are uniformly fine, but not Vorkosigan.
