Gaze at the moon until I lose my senses
Feb. 9th, 2005 01:02 pmLast night I was invited on another Girls' Night Out. (Ironically, in high school being one of the girls was frustrating and annoying; now it's delightful.) This time it was with the girls from work. We went to karaoke night at a bar, and they tried to find something I could sing 'in my condition'. I gently rebuked their every offer, though, and said maybe next week if I can take a deep breath. And I can find something that doesn't suck. And I can avoid being terrified about singing where people can hear me.
Speaking of taking a deep breath. I'm really getting tired of hurting. Every muscle from my abs up to... whatever the muscles are around my collarbones are, where the impact of each cough crashes into and stops. My throat is not terribly sore, at least. And the doctor at PAMF this Saturday, in case I haven't mentioned it here, was not up to my standards of professional etiquette. Hopefully he was an aberration.

Seems kinda a long time for a regular cold, that is the only reason I am asking... could be mono, or something akin.
