Lots of scattered thoughts. Now competing for brain space with that mystery version of 'Whisky in the Jar' is Dar's version of 'Wilder Than Her'.
Good news for me at least. Serenity comic from Dark Horse scheduled to start in July and finish just in time for the movie.
I went to 24 Hour last night and the guy said 'I'm not allowed to let you look around. So close your eyes and pretend you don't see me giving you a tour of the place'. I don't see any tai chi classes though. ):
Back still painful. Like where it makes me catch my breath. I'm beginning to wonder if it might be more serious than a bruise.
Sleeping patterns are all weird and I'm not getting a full eight hours even when I try.
Happy Birthday to the beautiful blue fairy queen, and may the damn kids keep out of your stuff. For a birthday present I will offer to stand guard and bite anyone who comes in.

I'm beginning to wonder if it might be more serious than a bruise.

Well, just to reiterate what I was saying last weekend: it's unlikely it's a bruise. It's probably muscle strain. There are very thin layers of muscles on the inside and outside part of your rib cage which contract when you cough, and the amount of coughing you did, you probably pulled them slightly.

Like many muscle strains, it's going to take time to heal.

So long as that's all it is, I'm happy. I just couldn't shake the image of bone ends grinding together last night as I tried to find a comfortable position to lie in.
(And I *know* it doesn't hurt bad enough to be that. I remember the separated rib I got in college from coughing and the exquisite sensations that generated.)

The separated rib was likely caused by those same muscles. :)

I think their technical terms are the intracostals and intercostals.

Still, it wouldn't hurt to see if you could make an appointment to get in and see your primary care NP/MD or call an advice nurse about it.

Thank you! I would certainly appreciate a guard-dog, though I fear the space is too cramped for that. My brother suggested ketchup bombs, but he didn't quite understand just how crammed-full this room is, and that it'd get all over my stuff, too. o.O

I keep thinking I need to make some mixes of my own, though I will have to exploit you or E for it in execution. Could I get some help with that sort of thing sometime, maybe?

Wait. A chance for Angie to exploit me? And I haven't even started buffing up with the excercize program! Excellent!

(I would love to help, and I'd enjoy getting to spend time with you.)
