There are two of us talking in circles
Mar. 19th, 2005 08:20 pmMiss Windrose and I went to see Dean Haglund's show, which made her laugh until she cried. It was very enjoyable, and she insists that we buy a DVD of the performance (which is at this very moment being created). And yes, the character of Dean Haglund is indeed based on Klae Robeson.
The show was an improv episode of the X-Files featuring the two and a half Lone Gunmen (Gary Jones, that guy, taking the third role) battling the mutant llamadogcat.
I'm trying to listen to the broadcast of Dean and Gary and John Noble on http://www.scifizoneradio.com but they tell me they're not broadcasting live tonight and thus I'll have to wait for the archived version to come up. Maybe Wednesday. I tried to listen to the show live, but there's way too much ambient noise for me to hear, even sitting next to the speakers. Overstimulated geeks, many of them drunk. (:
I had more of the yummy French Onion soup, but failed to hear Brent Spiner speak which is a shame because he's supposed to be quite personable and charming.
Ummmm. There's probably something else but I don't remember it right now.
(*OH* *squeak* The Editor Guest of Honor at OryCon, whenever we find a hotel, is Ellen Datlow!)
(EDIT: As of about ten minutes ago, we don't. She has a conflict with another con, so unless the date changes again we get no Ms Datlow.)
