Let's call the whole thing off.

For those of you who read this, I'm calling off video night Thursday because I need some down time to take care of things around the house and not be a social host. (in the morning when I check scroll, I'll also mention this online to the folks who are on Too and not on LJ.) If one or two people want my company (especially if they can offer me another ride home) we can discuss the matter, on the understanding that it will be a low-key hanging out thing.
Speaking of rides. I've had three wonderful lovely rides home from work this week. And it's only Wednesday. I love rides home. They make me feel very special. Plus they give me like an extra hour of time in the evening. And so I adore you all.
And I think I have most of the legwork done for the mix this weekend. I need to burn CDs and I want to make artwork for the liner notes, but I think I've assembled and ordered the stuff. Playlists forthcoming, but right now I have to go die.

Hard Day's Night

Glad I plotted out an evening to do the discs. It took... five hours to finish and I'm hot and irritable but I didn't kill the kitten once no matter how much he deserved it.
I got to do gardening stuff today as well, which was nice. And I am issuing a wide open invitation here--I'm planning a trip to the Rosicrucian Museum on the 13th of April, probably early afternoon. I know some of my friends have interest in seeing the place, and I'd like to drag a group down there now that I'm done with the coptically oriented bad guy in my RPG. These two links should provide lots of information about admission, hours, location and whatever else. I think I want to get the Tomb Tour this time, since I opted against it last time.
As a final note before I do my LJ cut, I know Shrek won the Oscar for best cartoon. Do folks in general feel it was the best? I enjoyed Monsters Inc a lot more, but I know I'm not a Mike Meyers fan.
