All in all, a relaxing weekend. Yay relaxing.
I had to get another haircut before Tuesday, but Dora (my wonderful Shear Image personal style manager) was leaving for Las Vegas that night when I called Friday. But she made room in her schedule for me, and now I can show up for working looking completely GQ. I will probably strike a few Sears Action Poses on my way out of the parking lot.
Saturday was the FLtD game, and I was pleasantly surprised to see pixiecrack in attendance--I was worried that she had quit. There was much waffling and indecision and confusion, but I got to hang out and role play a lot so it was good.
And that night there was PORK SPARE RIBS at the home of Rib King Mallen and I danced a little dance of delight and loaned him a copy of Lady Vanishes.
Today I cleaned my room because it's been a complete and utter sty for far too long, and Miss Friday gave me her afternoon once the housemate and Jake had departed for Craft Night. We watched Lion in Winter and I made potstickers. But I am not Potsticker King Cyrano.
Just as she was leaving, Mei arrived and we geeked about the game on Saturday and shared thoughts and ideas on how to most effectively take over the world.
Tomorrow I must go to the DMV before work to get a 'DMV printout' for the paperwork session on Tuesday. Hopefully Tuesday I will also find out stuff about what hours I'm supposed to be working, the dress code and when they want to send me to SLC.

Taking a cue from Erin, I'm going to invite other people to create the Cyrano LiveJournal Trading Card and I'll look at it and ask Are my eyes really brown?

New job starts tomorrow, and the lovely and wise Ebonlock was kind enough to do a reading for me.
Boy was I shocked and surprised to find Le Pendu in the center. Really shocked. Really surprised.
And next to him was the Emperor. I am embracing the Emperor, and entering the stratification of a new workplace with a cheery face and a smashing wardrobe. Also making guest appearances were the six of swords and the eight of cups, leaving problems behind.
