It's good to see that we still have that 'can do' 'pitch in and help' attitude in this country, but I think we might better direct that desire. American citizens 'volunteering' to imprison Afghanis with long beards.... At least there was no torture in these prisons. Just a few beatings.
It looks like I may be taking a driving holiday next month, and I can wave to people in The South as I pass through.
I've applied for a position in Operations at work, it's basically a co-ordinating position that facilitates efforts between flight crews, the ramp and customer service agents. There's no raise but there are also no customers.
