So I have, long ago, heard people talk about the corollaries between the Holy Grail and the Cauldron, the representations of the womb in pagan and christian iconography. (Iconography? Yes, I think so.)
But tonight I was watching another 'The *Really Real* This Time History of King Arthur's True Story' documentaries, and it was not until there was a screen shot of the grail next to the dying Christ when I realized what an amazing embodiment of the phallus (relating to the athame) the crucifixion makes.

Maybe I need to get out more. Or think less.
