She's a summer storm

Lots of scattered thoughts. Now competing for brain space with that mystery version of 'Whisky in the Jar' is Dar's version of 'Wilder Than Her'.
Good news for me at least. Serenity comic from Dark Horse scheduled to start in July and finish just in time for the movie.
I went to 24 Hour last night and the guy said 'I'm not allowed to let you look around. So close your eyes and pretend you don't see me giving you a tour of the place'. I don't see any tai chi classes though. ):
Back still painful. Like where it makes me catch my breath. I'm beginning to wonder if it might be more serious than a bruise.
Sleeping patterns are all weird and I'm not getting a full eight hours even when I try.
Happy Birthday to the beautiful blue fairy queen, and may the damn kids keep out of your stuff. For a birthday present I will offer to stand guard and bite anyone who comes in.

More scattered thoughts.
Wow, today is already so much better than yesterday. Same amount of sleep, but placed differently so I had time for a shower and grooming myself. Maybe even breakfast.
If I do the health club thing, I'll probably want/need to buy a new WalkDisc and swimming trunks. But I think I can manage this, and I think it'll be good for me. I just don't want to do it now, when moving hurts. Do they make you wear sneakers/tennis shoes/cross trainers/running shoes or can I avoid buying more shoes by wearing my work boots?
I've been invited to Vulkon down in Orlando, and am considering that possibility. I'd need to find somebody to babysit the cats. I'd need to check my budget. But it sounds like fun, and Florida in March shouldn't be *too* bad, plus I'll be inside for most of it.
Hoping to convince Steve to take the late shift tonight so I can make it to the birthday party at least for the Last Call portion of it. (:
Yay! Another request for a mix disc. (: I'll drop it off before work.
Oh, and as I mentioned to the lovely Miss Windrose, there's at least one good thing (if observed from the proper angle) about the unfortunate NHL season. It means that the Hurricanes will hold the Stanley for two years running.
