Plastic passion is a sold out scandal

How cool is this?
Disposable, more biodegradable options to plastic forks and glasses and plates. This is how little it takes to make me happy.

Yesterday Miss Friday came over to return CDs and was gracious enough to stay long enough to go grocery shopping with me (I like having company when I do stupid errands) and helped me prep the mighty crock pot o' chili. (Which, as usual, did not make as much as I'd expected. There were four little pint containers in the fridge when I unpacked it, but Tersa and I had both by that time dined from its spicy contents.) My haphazard recipe fashion suited me well this time, especially after the first serving when I threw in a healthy dash of the chipotle 'tabasco' sauce and made it all smoky and dark.

Just one Pepsi

There are these 'fizzy water' drinks that I buy, no calories, no caffeine, that sort of thing, as rewards for having already taken in a liter of water for the day. Usually I buy lemon, key lime or cherry flavor. This week I accidentally picked up a cranberry/raspberry bottle that somebody had callously hidden among the cherries. And it's nasty. The taste of it reminds me of the ammoniac reek of a used cat box.
I don't think I'll be buying this flavor again. Not for myself, at least....
