My brother has given me a brilliant idea for my next stage of taunting spammers.
After responding enthusiastically from my primary email address, I respond from a secondary email address demanding to be cut in on this because the dearly departed relative loved the secondary participant best. Which can then lead to all sorts of family drama with the spammer as audience.
