The game's a foot
May. 29th, 2010 12:49 amSecond session of that Victorian fairies game tonight. Things went *really* well. I was prepared enough for the players to throw spanners in every single plot thread I was weaving, and the chapter's final sequence (where they meet one of the big recurring antagonists) was *a little* too talky because I let the PCs start to argue semantics with him, but very satisfying on the whole. And the way they set up the scene was pretty much nothing I would have written myself.
Plus, all of this done with one of the players unexpectedly missing his *second* session.
(So I trashed his house, set his workshop on fire and had him arrested for heresy. That's what happens when you skip out on my game, punks!)
