cyrano: (Genius)
This is the first year I've come to Ashland without having had a chance to pre-read the shows I'm going to see. Hamlet does not worry me, but I've never read Henry VI and I don't remember how familiar I am with Twelfth Night.
cyrano: (Gilbert Fun)
There was yummy Indian buffet today at Taj with the slowest service I've had in quite some time. But I made a tandoori butter chicken burrito with naan.

I have been asked to find somebody here to proctor my Statistics exam. I tracked down a lab in Medford who will do it for only $30, if my professor gets them the information in time.

Also, we have a white Dodge AVENGER and I am disappointed every time I am reminded that John Steed is not driving it for us.

FIRST REVIEW:
Twelfth Night in the Allen Pavillion. Well played, very amusing. Perhaps a little too broad for my taste at times, and then there's the painful "I haven't seen you in all of three months so I have no idea what you look like" moment. But the Fool was great, Malvolio was devastating (until the last scene), and the timing was excellent, and I really liked the set. (Simple layout with one moving part--a window on the second level of the astroturf arch that opened up.) Antonio's crush on Sebastian was adorable, and I highly approve.
