Can't get there from here

I've been biking a few miles of Clinton River Trail after work, and it's apparently part of a network of trails that go for miles and miles. To the east is Macomb Orchard trail, and it looks like (from google satellites) that there's a stretch between Romeo and Richmond that's absolutely gorgeously pastoral. It crosses Hwy53 between 32 Mile and 33 Mile Roads. I am considering driving out there on Saturday or Sunday if the weather stays nice enough. I suspect we're running out of 'days without ice on the ground'.
