So going 75 up 101N isn't the best time to have a tyre blow out. Nauti had been telling me something was wrong for a while now, and I kept telling her 'I get three paychecks in July. Just hold on.' Apparently she couldn't wait that long, but like a Supreme Court Justice, she was as game as she could be. I gently wrenched her across five lanes of traffic and plowed into the shoulder just shy of the Foster City exit.
And then I completely lost my shit. Once I stopped shaking enough to dial the phone, I called work to tell them I'd be late, AAA to send me a tow truck and a friendly voice to help me pry myself off the ceiling. It took an hour to get the tow truck, and three hundred dollars to get my girl roadworthy again.

In unrelated news, I spent longer last night playing Zuma than I did at the gym. And having never gotten to level 4 until last night, I got all the way to screen 3. I was very disappointed that no new color was introduced.

Thanks, hon. (: Actually, there was very little danger all in all. Things could have been a lot worse. I'm just a basket case when it comes to driving. Um. Unless you meant the Zuma, in which case Raar I am fierce and I will defeat the puny marbles with my mighty war frog!

Holy crap; you're the second person on my f-list to have a blowout this week! And the second person to walk away from it unscathed except for your nerves. As I said to the other chap; I wish that it hadn't happened, but I'm glad that you're okay, because it could've been far worse.

I approve of that decision. Having had a 65 MPH blowout myself, I know how the stress is distributed when one starts to go out. Best to get them all fixed.
