Everyody hurts sometimes

For those of you keeping score at home:
I did not take any medications or tonics today, as I am planning a visit to the chiropractor and would like an accurate reading on what pains me and to what extent.
As an experiment, I took myself on a stroll to the comic shop as it was New Comic Day (*hurrah!*) and the comic shop is a paltry four blocks from the homestead. There was a stop at Arikato for lunch, and I must report that while it was a satisfactory meal I doubt I shall purvey much business to the establishment as such others exist that I find far more palatable.
In the end, I am glad that I took the break for lunch. There is as of yet no pain (except for sudden and unpleasant impact when I failed to notice a dip in the pavement for a driveway) but there is definite discomfort.
Also, it is very warm today, and I am glad I took the precaution of applying sunblock. All hail the Bullfrog!

In other news, I'm not wearing any pants.

Waah, my local comic shop closed. And the game shop is closing too.
