I went to the rock to hide my face
Sep. 20th, 2005 08:02 amHome from holiday. Back to work today. This week is going to suck.
Yesterday: Up at six, west coast time. From eight a.m. until midnight, the getting home process.
Today: Still on east coast time, probably. Up at eight for mandatory bonus training at work--so I'll be at work from ten a.m. until eleven p.m. (I hope. Weather looks crappy.)
Tomorrow: Dentist appointment in the morning. Work later.
Thursday: Just work.
Friday: DMV appointment in the morning so I'm actually legal for all the driving to work I'll be doing. Then work.
Saturday: Just work.
Sunday: Bonus work.
Monday: My day off this week.
Those three days where I have a major time suck in addition to work, I'm probably not going to have the opportunity to really do anything else because of the way I've set up my day. And also, somewhere in there I should probably shop for groceries and do laundry. (EDIT: Oh yeah, plus don't forget the going to the gym.) I know I was feeling overwhelmed by the list of stuff to do to keep the house running when Tersa went on holiday. But this is intimidating.
So, I've wondered this: when people add something to an entry they tag it ETD. Which probably doesn't mean Estimated Time of Departure. Nor, likely, is it just a constant and traditionalized misspelling of 'EDIT' ala 'fud'. So. WTF?

Welcome home. :) I hope it wasn't stifling in your room when you did make it home, it actually got warm here yesterday.
If there's anything I can do to help you with your crappy schedule, let me know. I can do laundry for you tomorrow night, for example, if you leave it out and sorted.

Date: 2005-09-20 03:57 pm (UTC)I will keep your offer in mind. Want to go to the gym for me a few times this week? Oh oh oh! Better yet, go to the dentist for me. (:
(If you go to the store, some minor staples would be nice. I haven't checked my supplies but bread and cheese would not be seen amiss.)
