Very creative productive day, very full of time sinks.
Downloaded some software that will allow me to uncompress .wma .mp3 and other files and edit and chop and perhaps even splice them. I'm going to be very very busy as soon as I get my month off.
Created a whole bunch of new LJ icons with photoshop, including one that I can't find the artist to give credit. If anybody is browsing through my images (I think cerulean_me pointed it out to me) and can tell me, that'd be great. I wrote the guy an email some months ago, asking about permission, but never got a response and so I'm going to be naughty and use it until asked to stop. EDIT: Found his name--like a big smartie, I bookmarked his page.
Jumped over a big creative hurdle in my most recent writing project, which makes me all sorts of happy.
And all before work!

Glad you figured it out. :) Just wanted to share a tip: when I started snagging pictures for icons, I put the name of the creator in the name of the file as I save it. I figured out my own system which is usually [descriptive name]-[creator].jpg or whatnot.

For the most part, I've gotten good at that. Ever since... I think it's leapsheep that I felt bad about not being able to credit. This one came to me in Yahoo with a pre-existing filename and all the context in IM, so they got seperated.
