cyrano: (Still Flying)

So, three episodes in, I still giggle at the pronunciation of 'The Colbert Report'.
And last night he described the Hussein trial as 'The Oscars--plus atrocities'. And I just have to wonder, has he ever *watched* the Oscars? But Fareed Zakharia still gives a hell of an interview.
In other news, I made my clipper make clippies, so it's doing its job and my beard is trimmed to a respectable non-Grizzly-Adams length. But the noise is still horrific. Like to the point where I want to wear earplugs when I use it. I think I may be taking a trip to Walgreen's/Target/whatever and looking for something a little less... circa 1940 aircraft-y.

It's FRENCH! ;)

I've always liked Zakharia! He's good with Stewart too!

(Also, my above statement is full of truthiness. Because I have the balls to use words from the gut! ;) )

I find "The Colbert Report" lacks a certain focus. Not sure whether the show will make it, although the satire is nice and crispy.

Speaking of interviews: Bill O'Reilly v. Jon Stewart had to be the most awkward thing I've ever seen. If people are lines, those two are definitely skewed.

Yeah, I get the impression that Stephen kind of gets the news that the Daily Show doesn't cover--it's the kid brother show.
In other news, it was really weird watching Rob Corddry doing 'This Week in God'.
