Last update for the night.

Also: I was thinking 'I want french toast tomorrow for breakfast.' And then I thought 'mmmm there's that yummy cheese/olive/pepper/whatever bread that Tersa bought at the farmers' market.' And then I started thinking about savory french toast. Has anybody ever tried this or heard of it being tried? Instead of sugar and jam and cinnamon and nutmeg, perhaps diced onions and cheese and cayenne pepper?

I'm really tired, and my body is doing that 'You never feed me' thing even though I actually had three meals today. Despite having worked out what seems to be a fairly reasonable excercize regimen, I sometimes feel like I'm punishing myself for being fat. And in response, I defy my authority by skipping sessions or eating a bag of potato crisps.

Here in Australia if you go out for brekkie, you can choose between sweet or savoury french toast at resturants. Two thumbs up for french toast with cheese!

Eating small frequent meals is way better for you than skipping, or even than eating three meals a day, at least in my experience. I find that if I never allow myself to get hungry, I end up making fewer "rash" food decisions, and if I have a few default "snacks" scattered around (Cut up celery and laughing cow cheese wedges, almonds packaged out into 1/4 cup servings so I don't eat the whole can, etc) I am less likely to grab chips or candy.

As for savory french toast, nummers. :)

Yeah, my current schedule is really bad as far as making sure I eat sanely. Especially if I get out of bed, shower, and then go to the computer to answer email. Days like that, I usually get two meals. I try not to skip, to set myself up with several small meals, but I don't try very hard.
