QUESTIONS:
1. My username is ____ because ____.
2. My journal is titled ____ because ____.
3. My subtitle is ____ because ____.
4. My friends page is called ____ because ____.
5. My default userpic is ____ because ____.
1. My username is cyranocyrano because Cyrano was taken. And that is my name, here in e-space. Cyrano Coyote Jones. Coyote is a personal totem. Cyrano is for the famous French poet who reminds me a great deal of myself, except more talented. Cyrano Jones because I needed a last name for many online forms that asked for my name and didn't really need it. Jones is normal, workaday, and balances the exotic foreign sounding 'Cyrano', plus it's the name of the guy on Star Trek who sells tribbles. (The only love money can buy.)
2. My journal is titled "An Infinite Number of Monkeys" because it's a self-deprecating comment, and I'm particularly good at that sort of thing. The concept is rooted in the school of thought that 'an infinite number of monkeys with an infinite number of typewriters would eventually produce the works of Shakespeare', and the idea there is that I'm one of those monkeys, and occasionally through random chance I might produce something worth the reading.
3. My subtitle is 'mmmmmmmonkeys' because it's something Bucky in the comic 'Get Fuzzy' says. He wants to eat monkeys, convinced that they taste delightful, and is frequently plotting how to arrange such a dinner. I like saying 'mmmmmmmonkeys' because it's fun to say (Try it, right now, right there in your seat. Your boyfriend will look at you oddly but who cares? It's fun.), and it's a variation on the theme of my title.
4. My friends page is called 'Infinity Plus One' because, again, it's another variation on a theme, and it contains the idea of being an additional facet, an including and a going beyond my journal. Plus, it's a mathematical impossibility and a delightfully childish concept. "I triple dare you! I dare you.... infinity! Oh yeah, I dare you infinity plus one!"
5. My default icon is the Coyote Angel, at the moment. Because coyote is my totem, and the coyote angel combines the spiritual aspects of the angel with the coyote, and the business suit puts an everyday costume on the supernatural aspects thus either disguising him or making him look shockingly incongruous, along the lines of a Magritte painting.
