Holy crap, Batman. There's something wrong with the world when even Rush Limbaugh agrees with me. Jerry Falwell is a fuckwit, peace loving innocent Muslims are not to blame for this and should not be abused, and "We are going to have to be very, very very careful about going overboard in restricting freedom in the name of security. Becasue, man, the temptation to do that is going to be so, so great."

I was thinking about this yesterday in a different context, and, well, one of the handy things about numbers is that they let you distinguish between different degrees of something. As a really completely arbitrary example, one would be perfectly correct to say that Rush Limbaugh is a big fuckwit, and also perfectly correct to say that Jerry Falwell is a big fuckwit. However, when you can quantify it as Limbaugh: 37.4 Standard Fuckwit Units and Falwell: 859 SFU, you can see that they aren't the same, and figure out which one you would shoot first if you had only one bullet.
