So today the lovely and talented Jess Hartley showed me a trailer for George Lucas' Brokeback Jedi and it gives me hope for the Star Wars saga--perhaps future Star Wars films will be watchable.

guavas and I were talking the other night about Star Wars and how we'd like to see the "after VI" stories re-done. I personally would like to see the Mara Jade story as well as the fact that I am Curious about the Solo kids... and how that all came to be. :D

I think I'd be interested, but not if Lucas had a major creative hand. He's proved himself to be a fairly uninteresting story teller (to me) these past ten years.

Lucas does seen way too wrapped up in himself these days. Probably the encounters with Joseph Campbell. (Another gentleman who really ought to have his cork pulled.)

It's probably not worth that much effort--it's one of those clever re-cuttings of a film to create a trailer that gives a far different impression of the film than the original trailer did. However, I'd be happy to bring my laptop over sometime if you were that curious.
