Okay, moses just posted a link to this, and I can't decide if I'm thrilled or horrified. It's a Bollywood remake of Fight Club including songs and dance numbers.

I finished reading Lilith's Working for the Devil and am now trying to find out if it's the first in the series or not. (Update: It is.) I have such talented friends!

And I'm making my way through JeckCrow's CD full of mixes, and want to steal/bastardize the name of one of them and make a mix of darkwave/depressing dance stuff called 'Gin and Electronic'.

It sounds like a completely different story, though... except for the Fight Club part.

VERRRRRRRRRRRRY interesting.

Yeah, there's very little of the Pahluniak existential angst left over. But the phrase 'Gang lords who kill to survive!' makes me laugh.

Bollywood also remade Reservoir Dogs into a movie called Kaante.

It's now in my Netflix queue. (:

Wait, I'm confused. If the first rule in Fight Club is you don't talk about Fight Club, why is there a website? (/attempt to be witty)

I hated Fight Club (I don't like violence and why did I watch this movie?) but with songs and dance number... I kinda want to see it...

You could call your mix "Gin & 'Tronic", which is more punny and a bit farther from [livejournal.com profile] jeckcrow's title. :-)

Indeed he could. You're (Cyrano) just now getting around to those? :)

Just now. (: There are library discs, there was the Great Audiography Mix Disc Trade just before C sent me that package, and then there was her covers disc to get through. And pretty much the only time I listen to new music is in the car on the way to work. So it can take a while.
(I got a new Johnny Cash CD for Christmas *last year* that I still haven't listened to. However, part of that is that it's the last one he made before he died, and you can tell that by listening to it and I have to be in the right mood for that one.)

Squee! You finished it? Oooh, (shamelessly begging) drop me a line and tell me what you thought. Please?

*bundle of nerves*

Well, I was looking for more, so that's at least an indication. (:
And I never could refuse shameless begging.

*grin* I don't shamelessly beg often. But when I do, dammit, I'm GOOD at it.

I am glad you liked it. *bigger grin* If it entertained you, that's all I ask for.

That Fight Club movie doesn't seem to have anything to do with the Paluhniuk book/American movie. Just the name.
