Monday night: Plug into biPAP machine. Breathe a lot.
Tuesday morning: Water levels in humidifier not appreciably lower. Think to self 'hrm, that's odd. Maybe it's supposed to do that.'
Tuesday night: Plug into biPAP machine. Breathe a lot.
Wednesday morning: Water levels again not appreciably lower. Frown. Call office and leave message on voice mail.
Wednesday night: Plug into biPAP machine. Breathe a lot.
Thursday morning: Still no water loss from humidifier. Call office and track down human being. Human says 'no that's not right at all--come in tomorrow morning and we'll exchange that unit right out and get you one that works.'
Thursday night: Plug into biPAP machine. Breathe a lot.
Friday morning: Humidifier chamber nearly empty. Huzzah! Humidifier works! Call office and suggest that problem is resolved, will keep unit unless further trouble arises.
Friday night: Plug into biPAP machine. Breathe a lot.
Saturday morning: Further trouble arises. Water levels in humidifier not appreciably lower. Humidifier knows office is closed all weekend and snickers as I leave a message on the answering machine.
