I don't know where I'm going

With recent weather, I've been thinking about places I can go for a ramble; places like Muir Woods, Point Reyes and Mount Diablo. But I'm fairly certain there are places even closer--less than the hour or two drive these others are--that I could get to. Anybody know of anywhere they're especially fond of? I'd like to get out and get a chance to enjoy these places before it gets hot. Or possibly I can find a place that's nice even when it's hot at my house.

That does makes sense... Though three people on your list I know from OkCupid. One from Craigslist. Another from my distant past. Mostly, they don't each other. It's cool :D
