Sunshine and Ravioli
Oct. 5th, 2001 10:48 pmWith help from Katchoo I got a whole mix CD burned. It's full of music that makes me happy, and it's called "Puff's All Star Lizard Revue".
(1.Coffee in a Cardboard Cup--Mandy Patinkin)(2.Me and My Shadow--Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr)(3.Pennies From Heaven--Lee Press-On & the Nails)(4.Lobachevsky--Tom Lehrer)(5.Happy Feet--Jack Hylton)(6.Bamboleo--Gipsy Kings)(7.Disco Inferno--The Bobs)(8.Amarylis--Flash Girls)(9.Whatever It Takes--Sinead Lohan)(10.Put the Message in the Box--World Party)(11.Red Shoes--Elvis Costello)(12.Na Na Na--Royal Crescent Mob)(13.Pressure Drop--The Specials)(14.New Song--Howard Jones)(15.Vienna Calling--Falco)(16.Cantaloop--Us3)(17.Freedom--Erasure)(18.Oh Yeah--Yello)(19.La Danse des Negresses Vertes--Les Negresses Vertes)(20.Dominated Love Slave--Green Day)(21.Four Leaf Clover--Abra Moore)(22.Better Things--Dar Williams)
Now you know something more than you did when you started reading this. Aren't you happy?
Yeah, I went out of my way to be eclectic and not pick the stuff that's getting played on Today's Biggest Hits 99.5 FM, and that makes me happy too, if I have no other excuse. I had to do something--LaunchCast is snubbing me.
Neil's LARP is tomorrow, and I feel pretty ready for that. Sunday is quality housemate time. We go shopping, and then either go to a movie or watch DVDs or the stuff she's collected off TV this week or we do something.
For those who feel prepared to take a humorous look at aspects of the events of the eleventh of this month, my friend l2g posted a page of 'All Your Base' style photos featuring That Guy Who Was on the Observation Deck Just Before the Plane Hit.
Crap. Late breaking news leads me to believe that track 10 on the All-Star Revue is bollixed. It's not the one I planned to be there, anyway. I'm trying to find out if Katchoo has any idea who it is. Well. So much for feeling smug.

Date: 2001-10-06 10:58 pm (UTC)Yeah, if I were less worried about getting busted for copyright stuff, I could put the playlists (and mp3s) on my website. Well, less worried and less of a big lazy ass.

If I were mixing a similar CD, it would have that one song from the opening credits of Ghost World.
