May. 30th, 2006 05:58 pmI just got mail from Ashland! My tickets for Jeckyll and Hyde are confirmed! (They gave me two--I don't know if they charged me for two, but Mnarra that means that if somebody wants to see a matinee they should tell me sometime between now and October. Or if somebody wants to go to Ashland with me...)
I was smugly pleased to see that one of the Brand New Million Dollar Houses kitty corner to us has a sign on it that says 'asking price reduced'.
Saw lots of Tennant Doctor Who yesterday. I like it a lot, but it doesn't grab me and thrill me the way the Eccleston Doctor did. I guess I like the vulnerable and angsty one over the tough 'no second chances' one. Who'd have thought?
I really enjoyed the delighted squeeing over my mix disc last night. There should be more me-inspired happy noises.
I kept thinking I saw LJ people at DG last night. At least people who looked like AberrantVirtue and RoisNoir.
Aaaaaand here's the meme! Stolen from the housemate.

Date: 2006-05-31 03:34 pm (UTC)Actually, both of the unsold ones, do. And the condo up the road. And another condo over by Ebonlock that just sold. :)

Heh. And, see, I see the Tennant Doctor as being vulnerable and angsty...he's just covering well. I feel like that was especially visible in "The Girl in the Fireplace".
And as someone said about this season, I keep waiting for the shoe to drop. Because I sense shoeness.

Date: 2006-05-31 11:40 pm (UTC)I've made a couple for my impact students that I'm pleased with, but I'm not familiar with a wide enough range of music yet; most of my iTunes library is still unheard. I've been working at it, though.
