Another quick iTunes question

Okay, I'm working on making the transition (or at least exploring and deciding if I'm going to make that transition) and bumping into things that were automatic on the old software but don't seem to work in the new.
iTunes users: Is there a way to look at either a playlist or a CD in-drive and the library of saved files at the same time, to compare?

Bah. I want things to work exactly like they did, but only better. Stupid learning new things.

I think double-clicking on any playlist or collection will open it in a new window, without sidebar. (Failing that you can probably export but that's not handy)

Woo! I will try that when I get home.
And I am very pleased/amused that the way to delete a song from the library is to select it and then press the 'Delete' key. That sort of universality makes me happy.
