Okay, I'm awake now. And it's Friday, so go ahead and ask me something.
You may imagine me pondering your query while listening to Django and smoking a clove in the filtered afternoon sunlight.

What draws you to polyamory over monogamy?

Also, when might I expect RoboRally games? ;)

I shall answer these in inverse order, the second part the first, because I have a more ready answer to it.
I burned the CD and found the games, so I need to put my hands on a box to ship them in. (Will UPS/FedEx do that?) I'm hoping to get them out on Monday. Do I have an address?

I think that, to some extent, my low self esteem played into my choices at first--the idea that while nobody would love me alone, perhaps somebody might be willing to take me on part-time.
But for the most part, I felt that love was such a rare and a precious thing that it was foolish to say "I have to pretend I don't love you, because I love somebody else as well." Parents didn't have to choose just one child, siblings didn't have to choose just one brother--there was still jealousy, but it was managed, fairly or poorly.
Over time, I have become less evangelical about this view. I realize that people are built differently, and it's not a case of being stupid. It's more like some people work better under pressure of a deadline, some people learn better from reading manuals, some people love better without dealing with multiple partners. But for me, at my heart, I would have a hard time squashing something as wonderful as love because I already loved somebody.

UPS/FedEx generally do not have boxes available in my experience, at least not at the regular customer counters. However, I'm sure that a UPS Store (formerly Mail Boxes Etc) could help you for a moderate fee. I forget that other people don't keep a random assortment of empty boxes on hand like I do (though I've WAY less than Mom) for random package-sending. You could probably better find something suitable and inexpensive at Office Depot/Office Max/Staples, too - Office Despot has a bunch of sizes on their website, so I'm sure they're in-store too. I forget which flavor store is just down the street from you in the CostCo complex. As for the address, it's always available in my memories, currently here.

And thank you for the answer on the first question. =)
