Okay--quick poll. Should I continue tearing the house apart trying to find my god damned ticket, or throw in the towel, buy another $30 ticket and maybe get a nap?
And also, it pisses me off when people charge fees entirely disproportionately to their actual cost. A $2.50 'convenience charge' to email me a ticket I can print out instead of waiting in the will-call line is certainly less of a pain in the ass to me. But it's also much less of a pain in the ass to the provider. He doesn't have to shuttle the paper ticket around and be responsible for it until I show up, he doesn't have to pay somebody to sit in the shack and wait for me to pick up the ticket, and yet since he's fairly certain I'll shell out the extra for an e-ticket (not like the Disney ones) he'd rather take the chance that I won't piss him off on principle.

How did you purchase the original ticket? If it was via phone or internet, then it's possible you could call (whomever you originally purchased the ticket from, either Shoreline or TM) and have the ticket reprinted. It just depends on what the venue's policies are. It looks as though they are a Ticketmaster venue, though, which probably means they can do it. If you purchased it in person, though, you're likely screwed. :(

oo. I *did* purchase it through the website, and had them mail me the tickets. I can at least ask them, I guess.

There you go! It pays to have a friend who used to work for Their Expreme Evilness, doesn't it?

It pays, if nothing else, to have clever friends. (: You are the best, and I will buy you birthday dinner tonight if it please you.
