And here's a toast to Neal Stephenson who has grown into an author who can tell a proper story--a delightful story--and has just thrown a plot twist at me that, despite its being obvious and perfectly logical, I completely failed to see until he hit me with it. I approve.

I would be happy to loan it to you, but it's all from the library. (: I suspect that it could be gotten from them easily, as I've been occasionally renewing my loans when the books took longer than expected.
