Entertainment Tonight is having a coveragegasm over the JonBenet Ramsey case. It's on mute here at work, so I look up and there's a split screen of Whatsisname doing the perp walk and JR looking like a six year old whore in a cowboy hat. The shot is subtitled "Disturbing Tapes" and it took me a minute to figure out which side of the split shot they probably were referring to.

Most child murders chill me, and always have. JonBenet's murder made me hate her parents, whether they did it or not...

I did see a documentary about the law enforcement fuck ups.... Well they showed pics of JBR as a REAL kid... It dawned on me that I'd never seen real kid pics of her. The kid whore pics always disturbed me so much that her murder didn't bother me as much.

The RudePundit did a nice piece on this whole thing called "Dances with Corpses" that I highly recommend. Also, am I the only one cynical enough to wonder if this guy would've agreed to having shot Kennedy if it got him out of going to a Thai prison? I mean I sure as shit would've admitted to killing Lizzie Borden's parents if it got me in a cozy American cell for the rest of my days.

The thing is, it makes me a bad person but I stopped giving a damn about the case about six months into the media frenzy. And I was glad when I stopped seeing those pictures of a prepubescent child dressed like a prostitute everywhere I looked.
