I love Richard Thompson's lyrics. Usually his music too, but he uses words like a knife, and etches images with them. You? Me? Us? is currently in my player and the current source of examples of this art. I read the liner notes and despair of ever bothering to write anything because, by comparison, it's a steaming pile.
