So I guess the weekend's over, since I'm up at seven. Friday after work we finally got to sample the Fabled Erik's Holiday Sandwich because Mei was nice enough to invite me to dinner.
Saturday there was a lovely Indian foo with Luc where we talked about the Wednesday night gaming session's future. And then I had LARP geeking with another LJ freak who's brand shiny new, and talked about my character's family. And then and then and then Mark brought over Shrek and we watched that and then Sunday came and I didn't do bupkis. I opened up Monster.com for my semi-weekly poke at online job listings, but that fell through miserably. (Luc says he may be able to get me a job playing with body parts though.) I went downstairs and told myself "I should do those dishes," in a very firm and instructional tone, after eyeing my room and thinking that if I could clean out some closet space maybe I could empty the car and get it ready for sale. Finally, I actually accomplished something. I sat down and watched my NetFlix copy of Blue Velvet so I could send it back so they could send me The Shadow which Mei hadn't seen, which also she apparently just bought. (:
And so here it is, Monday.

Not familiar with most of his later stuff--we played Hell With The Lid Off on KBVR, and watched him open for Consolidated in Portland before 'One Step Ahead of the Spider' came out, and I think I have a CD single for If I Only Had A Brain. I remember something about a killer inside from his third album too...
