Be my little human sacrifice

So I tried to go to work yesterday. I was soaked before I reached the light rail station. Got there and discovered we were closed for Veteran's Day. (Waited half an hour at the back door (again, in the rain) before I turned around and went home.)
So once I threw everything into the dryer and tried desperately to get warm, I came over all vaguely industrious. Among other things, I did another load of laundry, I made a dent in cleaning my room, I put some work into this 'cadaver-wrangling' position that Stuart mentioned to me, I wrote game stuff for Noir, I cooked dinner, and I pulled out my computer and took it apart so I could find out why the CD drive wasn't working. And then Cindy came over and fixed the stuff I broke while I was fixing that. I still have some cleaning to do in here, but I'm very pleased with the open space again, and will be until I clean out the car and fill it all again. Which will hopefully be done before this weekend.

Mostly because I think it'd take a good handful of cash to make it roadworthy at this point (new seals, transmission's soft, etc...) and because if I give it to Cindy then she can donate it to charity and take some $500 off her taxes, and I can count that as repaying a tiny bit of the money she's loaned me over the past ten months.
