Food report:
I had a bag of squash that I needed to use before it went over. So I threw it in a saucepan with a tin of condensed tomato soup, some curry and powdered ginger and let it stew for an hour. Then it went in the fridge overnight, and out again this morning. Once the squash started to soften up I tasted it and decided that the tomato taste was still a bit bright and flat. So in with a tablespoon of butter and a little bit of that really smoky spicy barbeque sauce. Which was, apparently, exactly what it needed to take that edge off. House smells good. House tastes good.

I have never tried this. Of course, it's been a long time since I've made anything that involved adding a sweetener, aside from, say, apples.

Just a note to say hello. So you are thinking about going back to school? I would love to have you call when you have time and tell me about it. Looks like I will be babysitting for Rollin the end of Nov. for a few days. Well time to do Avon. Love ya I sent this to your e mail address and it was returned. New address?

I am thinking about going back to school. I just have to figure out why. I don't think I've had a new address for a while--did you send the email to peak, nog or yahoo?
