Yay for NBC having Heroes and Studio 60 online, at least for a week.
Boo for the wonders of digital cable and modern technology.

My supervisor at work is offering me about $100 for my collection of 30 Star Wars figures--most of them lacking the guns and capes and other accessories. I'm tempted by this because pretty much their job for the past fifteen years has been to sit in a box and make sure a strong wind doesn't carry it away.

Having just gone through a page or three of completed auctions on eBay, I'd probably go for it, myself. You might be able to get more, depending on which characters you have, if you broke it up into separate lots (say, 10 each), but then you're dealing with shipping and fees and people (who're often horrible) and it's not even guaranteed you'll get much more, in the end.

If you don't want/need them, that's actually quite a good offer.

Just 2 cents from your local money-grubbin' seller-of-stuff. o.O

That's a strong influence, yeah, the idea that I can get rid of all of them in one fell swoop--the cool Ben Kenobi with his lightsabre and his stylin' fabric robes as well as that one droid that nobody really remembers where it's from with the slightly dog-chewed feet.

You can't believe the awesome feeling of being free from the tyranny of stuff. Especially when someone gives you cash for it.

Last week I unloaded my Barbie collection that has been following me around for a couple decades. And people PAID me for them. Awesome.
