I was poking at moses' .ogg files and found a folder labelled "Falco 3 [remix]" and I squeaked because I'd never seen this remix album before. I opened it up, and there indeed were all ten tracks from the original, labelled with new mixes. I tore into them, fired up Audiography, and... could not initially tell the difference between the originals and the new mixes. So I opened the original file for Vienna Calling, and eyeballed the waveform. They... looked pretty similar. Then I threw them into the same window and played them simultaneously, cranking up the magnification.
Yeah, same file, just shiny new name. poo.

I don't remember - are the songs labeled with remix names? I'd put the remix label on the album name, 'cause some of the songs are not the same as my original tape copy.

The songs are all labelled with remix names. Maybe the CD I have is also the [remix] album and I just don't know it?

Oh hey. Amazon readers say that the "Rock Me Amadeus" and "Vienna Calling" mixes on the original US release in 1985 were actually from German 12" discs, and the CD re-release in the US uses the first cuts (also the ones which they used in the videos).
