About ten years ago, on Thanksgiving

Yeah, my ten year anniversary here in California. I've pretty much already said everything I had to say about it earlier though. Just a bookmark here, then.

Monday morning at 6am I'll be ordering my tickets for next Fall's Oregon Shakespeare Festival. And yesterday I entered the 21st century, having listened to both The Bravery and Gnarls Barkley. (Minireviews! The Bravery: If I were not holding the CD case in my hand I would assume it was the latest New Order. But the name is on the CD case, plus the song titles actually have some connection with the lyrics. Gnarls Barkley: Also very retro, but in a completely different direction. Like Four Tops/Smokey Robinson retro.)

And tonight I make my special pumpkin curry for the 'celebrate your heritage potluck' at work.

Can't think of anything else at the moment.

Thus far, the holidays have been pretty low key, comparatively speaking. And as of about two hours ago, I'm back to only working eight hours on Thanksgiving.
