And for those keeping score at home, the extra four hours were incredibly useful. I managed to recreate the playlist for the '80s mix, and in fact apparently added another forty files. As I told windrose, I believe that the '80s are growing larger all the time. So twenty two and a half hours of audio, which pretty much encompasses any noise ever made from 1980 to 1989, was ready in time for Erik's holiday party.
Those who are feeling industrious and prepared to sort through noise for signal can find the playlist here.
Alas, it does not appear to arrange them by title, which was my preferred method, when burning.

Update:
A less iTuney version of the playlist is currently under construction, because I apparently have all the free time in the world, here.

This project was meant to be comprehensive, which was one of the reasons it kept getting delayed. "Oh, *that*! It cannot be comprehensive if I do not have that!" Alas, the size also means I can't take the DVD and stick it in my car radio, which really would have been ideal.

And, at that size, with an hour workout on weekdays, it would only take a month to go through the playlist.
