Every day is exactly the same

cyranoToday was a very eventful day. It's just that all of the events were pretty minor.
I got up early to get the housemate to the airport. (She escaped, despite my best efforts.)
I changed the message on my voice mail, and now my name is in it. Sort of.
I opened Rose's presents because I couldn't resist them any more. Whee! Pretties!
I took out the recycling.
I got my oil and wiper blades changed.
My supervisor Jerome bought me lottery tickets as part of work's secret santa thing, and I won $25. Well. With the first eight tickets I won four dollars and a free ticket. Which I turned into five tickets. Which turned into two dollars and two tickets. And one of those four tickets was the $25 winner. At which point I decided to cut my losses. (Actually, I suppose, there were no losses. So.... cut my winnings?) So I will not be retiring *this* month, at least.
I bought five bags of interestingly flavored crisps--just the little ninety-nine cent bags, in an effort to stave off the self destructive binges where I eat a big bag of them while watching television. Sweet Chili Doritos, Flaming Lime Cheetos, Wasabi Funyuns... I don't recall what all else.
Much of this was my fat craving, much of it was to say thank you to the 7-11 guy for letting me hang out in his store and get silver shavings all over his floor when he would much rather be doing inventory.
I got a title!
I'm nefarious, plus the name Chipping Sodbury makes me laugh.
In other news, I'm not happy with the DVD format of the '80s disc. I'm strongly considering turning it into two CDs, which would allow the 'throw it in the CD player and go' aspect which I wanted, plus it would allow me to keep them from being stuffed into folders by artist name.
