Okay, the first good news was that I was getting off work an hour early tomorrow. Then I found out I was coming in two hours late tomorrow (so almost a half day).
And just now, email came out about OSF's 2008 season.
Coriolanus.
Midsummer Night's Dream.
Comedy of Errors.
Othello.
Must. See. Them. All.
(Also, a Sanskrit play called the Clay Cart, Welcome Home Jenny Sutter, The Further Adventures of Hedda Gabler, and Our Town. Jesus. I can't afford to go back to school if I'm going to be able to buy tickets for all of these.)
Most of yesterday's mood has been repressed.

I'm not familiar with Coriolanus (BAD English Major, no cookie!) but yeah, totally would LOVE to see ALL of those. Too bad I am poor and in school :(

Coriolanus is an *excellent* choice for 2008. It's about a Roman who feels democracy is a bad go and the patricians should just be content to be ruled by their betters. And it gets him killed.
And, see now, if we were dating I'd feel obliged to pick up two tickets for each show. (:

I currently have a wee giftie which I'd heard was from you, but I'll be out of town all day tomorrow--going to visit Rachel. I'll be back Monday, but I expect you will have vanished into the mountains like Brigadoon by then.

The Moore book? I came across it at a giveaway thing and it said Coyote, so I figured I had to. Today's is much better!

And yeah, I'm headed back tomorrow afternoon/evening, I'm afraid. I should be around next weekend, though!

A Midsummer Night's Dream is my FAVORITE Shakespeare play! I'm jealous that you get to see it.

I saw The Tempest at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre back when I was an undergrad. It was really good.

Ashland is doing the Tempest this season, and it's pretty much the centrepiece of my trip in October. (:
