My iTunes is in a *mood*
May. 22nd, 2007 12:33 amPictures of You (extended dub) -- The Cure
(Are You) The One I've Been Waiting For -- Nick Cave
Smog Moon -- Matthew Sweet
Hallelujah -- Rufus Wainwright (*again*)
Creep -- Chrissy Hynde
Glorybox -- Portishead
Last Girl on Earth -- Supreme Beings of Leisure
I Love, I Love -- Dar Williams
Thank You -- Dido
Fade into You -- Mazzy Star
The Chauffeur -- Duran Duran
London Rain -- Heather Nova
The More You Ignore Me, The Closer I Get -- Morrissey
Asleep -- The Smiths
All I Want Is You -- U2
Jesus. Cheer up, Emo iTunes.
Hrm.... Actually, that would give me nearly an entire mix disc *plus* a title. Note to self: check to see how much crossover there is with Faded and then try to shake off the overpowering ennui enough to work on cover art.
I've decided that spending a huge chunk of money on a private table is not something I'm prepared to do right now; things are just too tight. Maybe if the concert were in six months or something. I still want people to go to the show with. Tickets are on sale now--go get yours! (I'll join you as soon as I see my first paycheck.)
EDIT:
Except of course that not a single track of that is remotely Emo. It's pretty much all Sad Bastard music. I suppose I could call it "Sad Bastard iTunes" or something like that. "Sad iBastard". I dunno.
EVEN MORE EDIT:
Rick Levine said this morning that he thinks I made a good choice.
Cancer (June 21 - Jul 22)
Monetary restrictions can change the course of your day, for it's not a good idea now to spend beyond your means. Still, you'd like to make a statement to someone special and actions do speak louder than words. If you must buy a gift, choose it carefully. Your intention is much more important than its cost.
