Got a gut feeling
Jun. 30th, 2007 02:08 pmMore techonology whining and complaining.
Usually when I plug the digital camera into the computer a little icon shows up in the task bar saying 'disconnect hardware here' and an extra drive shows up in "My Computer".
Right now I get neither of those.
The camera says "beep" when I plug it in, but that's the only response.
And when I unplug it to try and use it for picture taking, I slide back the lens cover (which is basically the 'on' button) and it beeps and a little green light flashes next to the viewfinder but that's the only response I can get out of it, no matter what buttons I press.
Does this sound like a dead camera, or hopefully just a dead battery? (I replaced the batteries in the past couple of months and haven't really used the camera since but I'm prepared to schlep out to Le Target and pick up some more to test this theory, as it seems the most likely.
I have pictures of my thumb to take! And jewelry!
