Like a dream needs a wing

For a very brief period this weekend, I was down to 190 pounds. That would be sixty pounds since February, an indication that either my focus on raw foods, fresh vegetables, reduction of meat fat salt sugar and anything that tastes good was definitely productive, or that I had several tapeworms.
And then we confirmed that the scale at 24 Hour Fitness was, indeed, broken.

Richard Thompson is coming to the Fillmore on 7 September.
The Cure is also coming to town in October, but they're coming with a whole slew of bands that I don't think I want to sit through.

And in cross genre hi-larity, this made me completely lose my shit this morning. (No spoilers for Book 7.)

I'm looking forward, at some point, to finding out if I've actually lost any weight, but I'm kind of happy with the delusion for now.
